Is scrap pickup free?
Yes, scrap pickup is completely free within a 6 km radius around our yard in Nettissery (including Mannuthy, Ollur, East Fort, Kuriachira, and Nadathara). For locations beyond 6 km, pickups are arranged on request depending on scrap volume.
Are you open on Sundays?
No, Sunday is a holiday. We are open Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. You can still message us on WhatsApp anytime, and we will reply first thing on Monday morning.
Do you collect scrap from my home?
Yes. We offer free doorstep pickup within 6 km of our yard in Nettissery. Home, shop and building site collections are all routine. For areas further out, message us with your location and approximate quantity.
How do you work out the rate?
Rates depend on the material and on the market, so we cannot quote a fixed price from a website. Iron and steel weigh heavy and pay less per kilo; brass and copper pay more. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will give you a figure before anyone travels.
Is there a minimum quantity?
For free pickup within 6 km, a reasonable household or shop scrap pile is sufficient. For smaller amounts, you are welcome to drop by our yard in Nettissery. Ask on WhatsApp and we will confirm honestly.
Do I need to separate the scrap first?
Separating pays. Mixed iron and steel is fine, but keep brass, aluminium and copper apart from it, and keep plastic, cardboard and paper dry and bundled. Sorted scrap weighs and sells faster.
Do you buy plastic, cardboard and newspaper?
Yes. Plastic bottles and containers, flattened cardboard cartons, and newspapers and waste paper are all bought. Flatten cartons and tie paper into bundles so it is easy to weigh.
Do you undertake house and building demolition?
Yes. We undertake complete and partial house and building demolition work across Thrissur. We deploy JCB excavators and heavy equipment, safely demolish concrete and masonry structures, clear all rubble and debris from your site, and purchase all salvaged steel rebar, structural iron, GI sheets, and fittings directly.
Do you sell used or salvaged materials from the yard?
Yes. We stock and sell reusable iron gates, window grills, storage drums and barrels, structural steel pipes, and roofing sheets directly from our Nettissery yard at honest rates.
How do I get paid?
Payment is made on the spot when the scrap is weighed and the deal is agreed.
